Novato (Calif.) Fire Protection District Chief Marc Revere has received the first Ronny Jack Coleman Leadership Legacy Award from the Center for Public Safety Excellence.

The award recognizes a fire department officer for superior leadership and actions that have elevated the profession through mentoring, teaching and sharing. Revere received the award during the center's annual ceremony, held during Fire-Rescue International in Chicago.
