LEA Wins 2011 National Brick in Architecture Gold Design Award

The project uses a jumbo clay-fired structural brick as manufactured by the Phoenix Brick Company. The regional clay material to make the brick actually came from the city of Tolleson, less than a mile away from the site. This project is a LEED-Gold facility.

LEA Architects LLC has been awarded the Gold Design Excellence Award in the “2011 Brick in Architecture Awards” National Design Competition for the new City of Tolleson (Ariz.) Fire Station and Administration Building.
