Laramie Chief Retiring After 38 Years

From the Laramie Daily Boomerang: Chief Larry Vickers is retiring at the end of the month after 38 years with the Laramie (Wyo.) Fire Department. Cmdr. Dan Johnson will take over as chief.

Vickers joined the fire department in 1972 and has been chief since 2001. Johnson joined the fire department 21 years ago and has served as a shift commander for the past 10 years.
