Dr. William F. Jenaway, vice president of VFIS Education, Training and Consulting, received the first-ever First Responder Distinguished Service Medal from the American First Responder Institute.

"Chief Jenaway is a glowing example of driving success in public safety at the local level as a fire chief and elected official, at the state level in various roles, and at the national level for his work as president of the Congressional Fire Services Institute," said William C. Finnegan, president of the American First Responder Institute, during the presentation held at the Union League in Philadelphia.
