IMMI expanded availability of its SmartDock hands-free SCBA holder, which now is available directly to all fire apparatus manufacturers and in the aftermarket through various channels of distribution.

The SmartDock offers single-motion SCBA insertion and hands-free release when the firefighter rises out of the seat. In the event of a collision, inertial forces cause the top jaws to lock around the SCBA, retaining the cylinder and preventing it from becoming a projectile. SmartDock is engineered so one model fits nearly all SCBAs used in today’s U.S. fire departments.
