The U.S. branch of the Institute of Fire Engineers will sponsor an International Forum on Aug. 25 during the IAFC's Fire-Rescue International Conference in Atlanta.

The forum will address the fire service and green technology; the use of robotics in the fire service; the intersection of cloud computing, tablet computers and fire prevention; terrorism prevention and mitigation, as learned from incidents in Israel; integrated risk management/community risk reduction; firefighter safety; and structural firefighting and incident command.

All FRI attendees are invited to attend.
