The Emergency Management Committee (EMC) of the IAFC is expanding its Go Team program. The next application period closes on Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. EST. Application requirements and materials are available for IAFC members on the EMC Web page.

Go Teams consist of two experienced and qualified chief officers able and equipped to respond to a request for organizational assistance from local, state or federal officials following a disaster or catastrophic event.

A select team will review the applications and the EMC will choose 20 IAFC members to join the existing Go Team, two from each of the 10 FEMA regions. Retirees are encouraged to apply.
