Ferrara Fire Apparatus has been awarded a contract for 21 additional 100-foot rear-mount aerial ladders by the City of New York Fire Department. When this order is complete, FDNY will have 41 Ferrara aerials in service.

The aerials are built on Ferrara's Ultra custom chassis, featuring a stainless-steel cab with a split-tilt design and seating for six. They are powered by 500-hp Cummins ISX11.9 2010 EPA–compliant engines. The aerials feature four-section rear-mount ladders with 100-foot vertical reach.
