Dover Chief Tapped to Head N.H. Standards, Training Division

If confirmed, Perry Plummer's new duties would include overseeing the state's fire academy in Concord, fire training curriculum and certification, as well as oversight of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.

From Foster’s Daily Democrat: Dover (N.H.) Chief Perry Plummer has been nominated by Gov. John Lynch to serve as the director of the Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Services.

If confirmed, Plummer's new duties would include overseeing the state's fire academy in Concord, fire training curriculum and certification, as well as oversight of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.

Plummer has worked with the Dover Fire and Rescue Department since 1986. He started as a basic firefighter. He became chief in 2002. Read the entire article here.
