Janet Wilmoth, Editorial Director
Janet Wilmoth grew up in a family of firefighters in a Chicago suburb. She studied journalism while living in England. Wilmoth first worked for FIRE CHIEF magazine in 1986 as an associate editor and also served as FIRE CHIEF’s international correspondent while living in Europe and Asia.

After 15 years of experience living in five countries, Wilmoth has firsthand knowledge of the potential of the international fire and emergency services and the power of the global market for FIRE CHIEF readers and advertisers.

Eleven years ago, Wilmoth created In Service for FIRE CHIEF to address increasing issues with apparatus safety and maintenance. She is currently on the Fire Department Safety Officers’ Association’s committee for its annual Apparatus Specification and Maintenance Symposium, serves on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation and the Home Safety Council’s Development Committee.

Greg Toritto, Associate Publisher
Greg Toritto joined FIRE CHIEF magazine as the Midwest sales manager in 1998 and was promoted to associate publisher in 2002. Greg has more than 10 years experience in business-to-business publishing and he was instrumental in the successful introduction of Fire/EMS Product News, the annual Weapons of Mass Destruction Federal Response Guide and 10 other products within the fire and emergency services industry. Toritto is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany. He and his family live on the north side of Chicago.

Lisa Allegretti, Features Editor
Lisa Allegretti has been with FIRE CHIEF publications since 2000, where she serves as the features editor of Wildfire magazine and the associate editor of Fire Chief magazine. She has a bachelor's of science in journalism from Northwestern University.
