Whelen Introduces LED Brow Light

The new Whelen Pioneer LED floodlight is designed for use as a brow light on the upper front edge of custom cabs. It features quick starts, long life and low current draw inherent with Whelen’s Advanced Super-LED technology.

The Pioneer LED is rated at 75 watts and draws only 6 amps at 12.8-volts direct current. The light output is rated at 6,000 lumens of bright white light without the ultraviolet frequencies that can attract insects. It requires no ballast and provides instant on and off capabilities without a warm-up time that is typical of some other floodlights.

The light housing is made from durable, corrosion-resistant aluminum and the mounting brackets are contoured to fit cab front radiuses. The angle of the light head can be adjusted up and down to maximize the light effectiveness.
