Weldon Introduces Diamondback LED Warning Light

The Weldon Diamondback LED perimeter warning light is incredibly bright, highly visible and features customizable flash patterns.

The Weldon division of Akron Brass has introduced a new LED perimeter warning light known as the Diamondback. According to Weldon, the new light delivers incredible brightness, unmatched directional visibility, customized pattern flexibility and unique serviceability.

The Diamondback LED perimeter warning light was specifically designed for use on emergency vehicles and includes many innovative features. It uses the patented Weldon V-LED technology that provides exceptional brightness, thermal performance and reliability. This same unique V-LED design allows future field upgrade of the LEDs.

The light incorporates Pure-Pattern optical elements that provide optimal light output that exceeds NFPA, SAE and KKK-A-1822 industry requirements. Four independently controlled LED segments allow unmatched flash pattern options including left/right, up/down, X-pattern, chasing and many more. Both colored and colorless optical elements are available.

The Diamondback housing has a flush-mount design that uses only four screw holes and a wire exit hole in the vehicle. The mounting pattern is common with most popular style lamps. The light uses high impact polycarbonate lenses with scratch-resistant and haze-resistant hard coating that provides a lifetime of durability and clarity.

Customers who want their own unique look can download customized flash patterns off the Internet. The lamp is completely reconfigurable via wireless download without removing the lens or lamp from the vehicle. Currently, the wireless application software runs on any Windows CE device with an IrDA communications port (PPC 2003 or later and .NET Compact Framework 2.0 required).
