The Weldon division of Akron Brass has introduced another apparatus lighting product based on the company’s exclusive V-LED technology. According to the manufacturer, the new 8048 Series 8-inch LED interior dome lamp provides a bright white light for use in ambulance, command and walk-in rescue units.

The light is designed to be recessed into interior surfaces and meets the GSA KKK illumination requirements at cot and floor level of ambulance interiors. It features a significantly reduced current draw and excellent thermal efficiency for minimum heat generation.
