Weldon Develops Brighter LED Lights

Weldon Technologies says its new V-LED light source produces the brightest LED lights on the market. The new light source was introduced at the FDIC show and is now available in a series of perimeter warning lights for fire, rescue and EMS vehicles.

The Weldon V-LED is the result of a three-year project to improve light-emitting diode lights. According to the manufacturer, the new light has excellent visibility from all angles and produces deeper, richer colors with better pulse control than strobe lights for easier recognition. The typical life of a red or amber V-LED light is estimated to be about 50,000 operating hours before it experiences any appreciable loss of brightness.
