Waytek Solid-State Battery Disconnects Switches Designed for Emergency Vehicles

They are commonly used as battery power shut-off devices, and can replace under-seat battery disconnect switches, or can be used in other applications that require high-current continuous-duty switching.

Waytek recently introduced high-current switches designed for remote-mount battery disconnects in emergency vehicles.

They are commonly used as battery power shut-off devices, and can replace under-seat battery disconnect switches, or can be used in other applications that require high-current continuous-duty switching. They are hermetically sealed and non-mechanical solid state components, so there are no moving contacts to wear out. The innovative solid state design makes them very reliable and long lasting. An internal diode protects inductive load switching.

These switches are engineered to minimize installation efforts and to integrate seamlessly with other existing vehicle systems and structures.
