Waterous Offers Information on CAFS

The latest issue of the Siren newsletter from Waterous includes some good articles and information about compressed-air foam systems.

The lead article is titled “The Care and Feeding of Your CAFS,” by Keith Klassen, and includes valuable information on the regular maintenance required to keep compressed air foam systems operating properly. Another article discusses the steps required to retrofit CAFS to existing apparatus, which is becoming a popular option with some departments.

Other articles and news items cover the use of floating pumps for wildland-urban interface protection, new pump products and the launch of the new Waterous Web site.
