Waterous Introduces Aquis Foam System

Waterous now offers the Aquis foam system for customers that want an accurate and affordable way to deliver Class A foam.

The Aquis system proportions all commercially available Class A foam concentrates using an automatic microprocessor-controlled, direct-injection, discharge-side proportioning system. It measures flow and temperature of the pumped water to provide highly accurate and consistent mix ratios.

The Aquis 1.5 system can handle flows up to 400 gpm and pressures up to 450 psi. It draws a maximum electrical load of 27 amps at 12-volt DC. The Aquis 2.5 system can handle flows up to 750 gpm and pressures up to 450 psi. It draws a maximum electrical load of 40 amps at 12-volt DC. Both systems feature operator interface terminals mounted on the pump panel with foam proportion dials from 0.1% to 1.0%, warning lights and back-up manual controls.
