The Washington State Fire Mechanics Association plans to host its annual training conference Sept. 11-15 at the Yakima Convention Center. Technicians may register for classes now.

The conference will feature a variety of training sessions on engines, transmissions, pumps, aerials, foam systems and other topics. Some of the classes are rarely offered elsewhere, including instruction on stand-by generator maintenance and ground ladder testing.
