Sterling Trucks Add Safety Options

Customers specifying Sterling truck chassis now can select optional air-disc brakes, collision-warning systems and roll stability control systems on Sterling set-back front axle A-Line trucks, as well as all L-Line and Acterra models.

The air-disc brakes will be available on both front and rear axles. The Eaton VS-400 collision warning system will include smart cruise control and a simplified driver interface. The Meritor WABCO roll stability control system modulates engine torque and braking and is primarily designed for tractor-trailer vehicles.
