No Winner Yet in SCBA Sweepstakes

As a “thank you” to firefighters for their input, support and initial field trials of the Warrior SCBA, Sperian Fire launched the $250,000 Warrior Try-On sweepstakes at FDIC. During the show, more than 600 firefighters tried on the Warrior at the Sperian booth, took a ticket with a code number and logged on to www.sperianfire.com to see if they won. So far, three iPods, a Nintendo Wii, a Playstation III and a 20-inch iMac computer have been awarded, but no one has won the $250,000 prize.

The first Warrior winner was chief Alvin Payne of the Myrtle Beach, SC, fire department. One of his firefighters, Edward Begovich, won a few minutes later.

Sperian will continue to hand out tickets while promoting Warrior, and the sweepstakes will continue through July 31, or until 100,000 game pieces have been handed out, whichever comes first.
