The Plastisol Composites North America plant in Groton, N.Y., is slated to be completed in October. The company expects to start building high-strength composite bodies for pumpers, rescue and water tenders as soon as the doors open.

Plastisol offers custom bodies, as well as pre-engineered bodies for quick delivery to local fire apparatus builders. It can even install the bodies on customer-supplied chassis in its own plant.
