Peterson Introduces LED Backup Light

The Great White LED backup light is the brightest unit on the market according to Peterson Manufacturing, which recently introduced it for truck and apparatus applications.

Features of the light include a 100,000-hour rated life, ultra-bright white diodes, custom optics and excellent seals to protect against moisture, chemicals and corrosion. LED lights have become very popular because of their long life, vibration resistance and low current draw. Red and amber LED lights are commonly used for stop/turn/tail lights, side marker lights and emergency vehicle warning lights. White LED lights have been more difficult to produce, but the development of Peterson's new Great White backup lights changes that.

The Great White backup lights are available in a variety of models with either plain mounts or grommet-and-flange mounts.
