Ohio EVTs Announce Symposium Program

The Ohio Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians announced the program for its 14th Annual Emergency Apparatus Maintenance Symposium on Sept. 25-29.

Symposium activities will be held at the Ohio Fire Academy in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and at the nearby Days Inn. Classes include aerial maintenance, air brake maintenance, workplace safety, small engine repair, generator maintenance and several others. They will also offer review sessions for the EVTCC F-2, F-3 and F-4/E-2 exams. Participants may arrange to take one or more EVTCC exams during a special test session on Thursday.

Other activities include a vendor show and barbecue on Tuesday afternoon and evening followed by an apparatus maintenance roundtable on Tuesday night. On Wednesday, participants can attend a banquet dinner and awards ceremony.
