Miami-Dade Buys Rosenbauer Aerials

Miami-Dade County (Fla.) Fire Rescue has ordered 14 Rosenbauer apparatus equipped with aerial ladders. It is part of a larger order expected to be placed over the next five years.

The first deliveries will include 12 units equipped with 1,500gpm pumps, 500-gallon water tanks, foam systems and 60-foot aerial ladders. An additional two units will have 1,500gpm pumps, 400-gallon water tanks and 75-foot aerial ladders. All of the aerials will be built on Spartan Gladiator Evolution chassis with low cab entries.
