Kussmaul Introduces New Products

Kussmaul Electronics Co. has introduced several new products for fire apparatus, including a battery charger for high-capacity batteries.

The Kussmaul Auto Charge ODY battery charger is designed for use with the latest generation of batteries, such as the Odyssey PC1250, which require a higher charging voltage and a different charging protocol to maximize capacity and life.

Another new product from Kussmaul is the Battery Saver power supply, which provides low-ripple DC power for use with computers, mobile data terminals and other sensitive electronic equipment.

The new Auto Drain kits are designed for use with Kussmaul's Auto Pumps, which maintain vehicle air pressure during prolonged periods of inactivity. The drain kits automatically drain moisture from the primary air tank every time the pump runs.

Kussmaul has also made an agreement to handle two ReelCraft automatic-retracting reels for use in fire stations. They retract the shoreline air and electrical lines after they are ejected to prevent them from being run over accidentally by the apparatus as it exits the station.

For more information about these and other Kussmaul products, call 800-346-0857 or go to www.kussmaul.com.
