Kussmaul Releases High-Power Load Manager

Kussmaul Electronics Co. now offers an electrical load manager that sheds up to a 75-amp load when the vehicle battery voltage drops. A special feature prevents load-shedding while the starter is cranking the engine.

The Kussmaul Model 091-167-12 Load Manager 1HP monitors the battery and sheds the load when the voltage drops below 11.5 volts. A connection to the engine starter keeps the load connected while the starter is cranking to eliminate the need to re-boot computers and other attached electronics.

The unit features fully encapsulated electronics and can be mounted under the hood or in other exterior locations.
