International to Add 4x4 Model

International Truck and Engine introduced its 4200 4x4 Class 6 truck with GVWRs of 21,500lb and 25,999lb. The 4200 will be available in the spring of 2006 and will join the lighter 4100 4x2 Class 5 model that was announced recently.

Features of the 4200 4x4 model include air brakes and controls, International's Diamond Logic electrical system and a low overall height of 105 inches with 19.5-inch tires. The design emphasizes maneuverability and visibility, and the 4x4 drive makes it suitable for certain snow and off-road rescue and pumper applications.
