HME Ahrens-Fox Introduces Quint

The Arsenal quint from HME Ahrens-Fox features midship pumps up to 2,250gpm, tanks up to 1,000 gallons, and rear-mount aerial ladders with 75 feet or 109 feet of vertical reach.

The apparatus is mounted on a short-wheelbase, tandem-drive chassis for good maneuverability and weight distribution. The four-door custom cab has a split raised roof to provide additional headroom over the outboard seats and maintain a low overall travel height.

The stainless-steel body has space for a full ISO complement of ground ladders inside a low compartment that is accessible from the rear of the apparatus. A deep, wide hosebed on the right-hand side of the body has a chest-high floor to allow rapid deployment and repacking of supply hose.
