Heartland EVTs Offer Foam Training

Attendees of the five-day "Build a Foam Truck" class will install a Waterous CAF system on a bare-bones truck and eventually put out a fire with it. Class size will be limited to 15.

The Heartland Emergency Apparatus Technicians Association will host "Build a Foam Truck," as part of the Heat 2011 Spring Training, April 18–22 in the Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.

Attendees of the five-day class will install a Waterous CAF system on a bare-bones truck and eventually put out a fire with it. Class size will be limited to 15.

Also new this year will be an exhibition hall. Interested vendors can contact any HEAT board member.

EVT testing will be offered the afternoon of April 21.
