Foster Debuts Compact Rescue Vehicle

Foster Rescue introduced a compact rescue vehicle at Fire-Rescue International in Atlanta. The new unit measure less than five feet wide and six feet tall, yet carries a variety of fire and rescue equipment.

The Foster Compact Rescue Vehicle features a Vantage LSV chassis with a Plastisol lightweight composite body. It is equipped with a 15 kw generator, telescoping lights with an optional light tower, a hydraulic rescue tool system, regulated breathing- and utility-air supply and 21-gallon compressed-air foam system.

The larger Foster Multi-Purpose Rescue Vehicle is built on a Ford F-550 chassis and features a 35 kw generator, telescoping lights with standard light tower, hydraulic rescue tool system, breathing-air compressor, utility-air supply and a choice of 30- or 60-gallon CAF system.
