Hendrickson Fire-Maax Suspension Gets New Ratings

The Hendrickson Fire-Maax rear air suspension is now available in a 27,000-pound rating for single axles and a 54,000-pound rating for tandem axles.

According to the manufacturer, the Fire-Maax offers customers better ride, handling and stability for emergency vehicles and provides up to twice the roll stiffness of other air-ride suspensions. It's available from several fire and rescue apparatus manufacturers.
