Free Highway Safety Video Available

The Emergency Responder Safety Institute has announced the availability of its awareness video, The Ten Cones of Highway Safety.

The institute is an informal advisory panel of public safety leaders committed to reducing deaths and injuries to emergency responders working on the nation's highways. According to their Web site, nearly 3,000 copies of the program have been requested over the last year.

“Frankly we were overwhelmed, and our fulfillment center couldn't keep up the pace,” wrote Stephen P. Austin, the institute's project manager. “We now have entered into an agreement with our partners at the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Working together and with your help, we promise to deliver the material you request promptly.”

The video is available at no charge to training officials of fire, EMS and law enforcement departments. For more information or to request a copy of the video, visit www.respondersafety.com.
