Firefighter Hurt in Brush Fire

Sandycreek fire chief Tom Burkhardt was injured during a brush on April 22 in Franklin (Pa.).

Sandycreek fire chief Tom Burkhardt was injured during a brush on April 22 in Franklin (Pa.), reports www.thederrick.com. The fire burned between eight and 10 acres of land. Another volunteer firefighter brought an ATV to the scene while the Venango County Emergency Management arrived with a similar vehicle. Volunteer firefighters will return to the scene for additional clean up.
