Florida EVT Group to Host Fall Training Symposium

Fire mechanics and emergency vehicle technicians can prepare for the EVT Certification Commission tests at the Fall Training Symposium in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Oct. 22–26. A special test site will be offered on the last day.

The symposium is hosted by the Florida Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians and will feature review classes for several of the EVTCC tests. Organizers of the event say that past experience has shown that taking a review class with other mechanics and technicians, and then taking the tests immediately afterwards, is a good way to pass on the first try.

For more information about the symposium and a list of classes, call 386-676-2744 or go to http://www.faevt.org.

For information on how to register for one or more EVTCC tests on the last day of the symposium, go to http://www.evtcc.org.
