Darley Cobra CAFS Fits Initial-Attack Pumpers

The Odin Foam division of Darley introduced its new Cobra CAFS module at FDIC in April. The new unit meets all the NFPA 1901 initial-attack pumper requirements for both water flows and compressed-air foam flows.

The Cobra is rated for 250-gpm water flow at 150 psi, 175 gpm at 200 psi and 125 gpm at 250 psi. This meets the minimum NFPA requirements for initial-attack pumpers, as well as gains credit for Insurance Services Office ratings. When delivering compressed-air foam, the unit is rated for simultaneous flows of 250-gpm water and 125-cfm air at 125 psi, which meets the current NFPA requirements for CAFS.

The module measures 34 inches long (lengthwise on the vehicle) and 69 inches wide. It features an illuminated, brushed stainless-steel control panel with all the controls, gauges and instruments installed, wired and connected.

For more information, contact your local Darley representative or contact Odin Foam at 877-634-6223 or jim@odinfoam.com
