Crimson Fire has added three new companies to its dealer network, expanding services in Ohio, Arizona, Nevada and California.
Ohio CAT will sell and service Crimson’s full line of custom fire trucks, aerials and rescue vehicles throughout Ohio. The third-generation company, which has more than 800 employees, has more than 70 service bays located in the state’s five largest cities: Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo and Youngstown.
Ohio CAT has added Tom Abel, a former firefighter with more than 20 years of experience in the emergency-rescue industry, as its new sales manager.
Ohio CAT currently provides sales and service for Caterpillar components and equipment, including construction, agricultural, power systems, truck engines and related vehicles. Its current clients include fire departments municipalities, hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, data centers and others.
EMC will sell and service Crimson products Arizona. EMC has nearly two decades of experience in the fire services and emergency-rescue market, as well as expertise working with hospitals, railroad companies, federal agencies and others to provide industry-focused equipment.
Andy Weertman and Jason Deliso, who are firefighters, will serve as the sales team focusing solely on the Crimson product line for EMC.
With operations in Arizona and Illinois, EMC sells and services turnout gear, thermal-imaging, fire hose, hydraulic rescue tools, air lifting bags, SCBA, trench and confined-space rescue equipment and many other products used in the fire service. The company also custom mounts and brackets equipment to new trucks after departments have taken delivery or reconfigures existing apparatus to ensure they operate more efficiently.
Hi-Tech E.V.S. will serve central and northern California as well as northern Nevada from its Oakdale, Calif., headquarters. The company was founded in 1987 and has grown to be a respected regional manufacturer and service center for custom emergency-rescue vehicles.
Hi-Tech will provide vehicles sales, bumper-to-tailboard vehicle repair service and parts sales for Crimson Fire. The company, which has 43 employees, also sells and services Hurst Rescue Tools. For the past 21 years, the company has designed and built more than 400 custom pumpers, tenders and other fire apparatus for area fire departments.
