2013 NFPA Conference and Expo
The annual NFPA Conference and Expo is a four-day event presented by the National Fire Protection Assocation (NFPA). The event serves professionals in fire protection, electrical and life safety, and security.
NFPA's conference and expo provides pre-conference seminars, educational sessions, and post-conference seminars, as well as the Committee Leadership Conference, the NFPA Standards Forum, and the Association Technical Meeting.
Doris Kearns Goodwin, historian and author of Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, is the keynote speaker. William J. Fries III, U.S. Department of Defense's Fire Marshal and Supervising Fire Protection Engineer, and Ariam C. Kloehn, U.S. Department of Defense's Deputy Fire Marshal and Fire Protection Engineer are the featured speakers.
